Here are the headlines and more for today. Together we'll look at Adam Levine's love for 'Honey Boo Boo', Auburn, The Royal Baby, and my Washington Redskins.

FORECAST: Expect mid-50s tonight with light rain. Tomorrow high will reach the mid-70s under rainy skies.

ALABAMA: The Auburn Tigers have named Gus Malzahn as their new head football coach today. I’m just guessing that Malzahn’s history with Auburn had some bearing on him getting the gig. He was Auburn's offensive coordinator from 2009-2011.

NATIONAL: The biggest news of the week is that Prince William and Kate Middleton are having a baby. Like everything concerning the Royal Family, expect to be overwhelmed with info on “The Royal Baby”. I predict that America’s obsession with British Royalty will reach new heights.

SPORTS: My Washington Redskins beat the New York Giants last night! Before last night Washington had lost 5 straight MNF games and had lost 10 straight MNF games played at home. With help from superstar quarterback Robert Griffin III and a rock solid defense, The Skins inched by the Giants 17-16.

ENTERTAINMENT: In an interview with GQ, Maroon 5 vocalist and ‘The Voice’ coach Adam Levine had some harsh words about 'Honey Boo Boo's' show and the family of child beauty pageant contestant Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. “Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization,” Levine said. “That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened. It’s complete f—ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids.” Dang! I suppose Levine and Barbara Walters never need to meet because she's the one who called Honey Boo Boo one of "The Most Fascinating People of 2012"!

MUSIC: On this date in 1956, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins got together in Sun Studio in Memphis for an impromptu jam session and became the world's first super-group! We now know them as 'The Million Dollar Quartet' and those legendary recordings are available for purchase.

Also, Florida Georgia Line‘s debut album, ‘Here’s to the Good Times,’ hits stores today, but the album’s first release, ‘Cruise,’ has went to number 1 on the Country Singles chart! We all saw it coming because the song is one of the most addictive playing right now! Congrats guys!
