Over 3,000 runners converged on the Griffin Farms Pumpkin Patch Saturday for the inaugural Insane Inflatable 5K presented by McDonald's.

Personally, I over estimated how difficult running the Mayor's Cup 5K at 8 am and then Insane Inflatable 5K at 11:30 am would be. It wasn't the distance at all. As an experienced runner, 6.2 miles isn't that difficult but to put three hours in between the two 3.1 mile races was my enemy. That was just enough time for my muscles to tighten back up.

I will say that the crowd running the Insane Inflatable in my 11:30 am wave were some of the most spirited runners I've even paced beside! We had fun, running, joking and laughing all the way to the end.

I didn't have my phone with me on the course but a member of our staff caught some video and took a few pictures!
