Formerly known as the Eichold-Heustis Museum, this wacky exhibit is considered the "the largest collection of medical memorabilia in the Southeast."

This eerie museum was brought to life in 1962 by Patricia Heustis Paterson as a memorial to her father, James F. Heustis, M.D. What started out as a mere 100 artifacts has grown into an entire collection commemorating the past 200 years of modern medicine. The gallery hosts displays of medicinal horror including creepy-looking surgical tools and documents explaining, in detail, ancient medicinal practices such as bloodletting.

The Eichold-Heustis Museum is located in Mobile, Alabama at 1664 Springhill Avenue.
