Missing Tuscaloosa Woman’s Body Found, Arrest Made

30-year-old Jennette Sims Brannon was last seen by her family on December 2nd and last night learned they that their daughter was murdered.

Authorities found Brannon's body at the bottom of an embankment in Cottondale on Wednesday night near the home of Charles Richard Sexton.

58-year-old Sexton has been arrested many times for violent crimes and after a search of Brannon's phone records, authorities found Sexton and charged him with her murder.

He is currently being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
