The University of Alabama appears to have wrapped up its non-conference schedule for the 2017 football season.

Although the school hasn't officially confirmed it, but Mercer football announced that the school came to an agreement to play at Bryant-Denny Stadium twice in the next six season.

Mercer plays in the Southern Conference at the FCS level. This past season, the Bears finished 5-6 overall.

"We are excited to add one of the elite college football programs to our schedule in 2017 and 2021," said head coach Bobby Lamb. "This will be a great opportunity to test ourselves against a championship program in one of the most storied gameday environments in the country."

The non-conference schedule for Alabama now includes Florida State (September 2 in Atlanta), Fresno State on September 9, and Colorado State on September 16.
