I woke up at 3:45 this morning to make sure I had plenty of time to chug down several cups of coffee, load up my camera equipment and chase the blood moon/lunar eclipse.

I started in my driveway before eventually settling a half-mile away to get above the trees as the moon quickly set. I managed to capture half of the lunar eclipse before the cloud cover became too thick to see anything around 5:50 am.

I'm a little bummed out but I've got one last chance to capture a blood moon this September.
