Luke Bryan has released the music video for his newest single, "Light It Up." The clip features Minnesota Timberwolves player Jimmy Butler; readers can press play above to watch.

Directed by Michael Monaco, Bryan's "Light It Up" music video follows Butler -- playing himself -- waiting for a message from his significant other. He's in the locker room post-game, surrounded by reporters, and has other women pursuing him, but the only person he's interested in is the girl who won't text him back. The good news for Butler is, the "Light It Up" video storyline has a happy ending -- and a simple explanation for the lack of texts.

Butler is a Texas native and former Marquette University basketball player. He was drafted 30th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls and traded to the Timberwolves during the summer of 2017. Butler has been named an NBA All-Star and an NBA Defensive Team honoree three times each; he was also a 2017 NBA All-Team pick and 2015's NBA Most Improved Player honoree. He's a country music fan and has been to a number of Bryan's shows.

Written by Bryan and Brad Tursi of Old Dominion, "Light It Up" is the first single from Bryan's upcoming album, What Makes You Country. It was produced by Jeff and Jody Stevens.

Bryan's new album is due out on Dec. 8. In February of 2018, he will embark on his What Makes You Country Tour.
