Ahead of the release of their forthcoming album, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real have shared “Find Yourself,” a duet with pop superstar Lady Gaga. Readers can press play below to hear the track.

A soulful, funky tune," Find Yourself" is one of three new songs released by the band in advance of the debut of Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, their forthcoming self-titled album. Lady Gaga’s powerful voice mostly takes a backseat to Nelson’s vocals, which are eerily evocative of his father’s own timbre.

According to Rolling Stone, “Find Yourself” was written by Nelson about “taking my power back and owning the love that I deserve.”

"We've all grown so much -- the band as a unit and me as a songwriter,” Nelson tells Rolling Stone. “It's all come together in a really beautiful way, we're thrilled to finally share this new music with the world."

Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real is set for release on Aug. 25.

Lady Gaga's newest album, 2016's Joanne, features three songs written by Nashville songwriter Hillary Lindsey; one of them, "Million Reasons," became a single. Gaga shared that song and both the Lindsey-penned "A-Yo" and "Grigio Girls" during a small club show in Nashville last fall.
