Lucy Hale is making quite the splash into the country music scene. Known primarily for her role on ABC Family's 'Pretty Little Liars,' the actress has a cowgirl hat firmly placed atop her pretty little head, furthered by the announcement of her debut single 'You Sound Good to Me.'

The single won't be available for download until Jan. 7, but now, all Hale fans have a title to put with the highly-anticipated single.

Hale tweeted to express her excitement, saying, "Very special day for me !! My single 'You Sound Good to Me' is out January 7!!"

The song was written by country's most well-known writers, Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird and Hillary Lindsey.

Along with announcing her first single, Hale has shared the cover art for 'You Sound Good to Me.' As no surprise, the actress-turned-singer looks beautiful -- and very country -- standing in a field lit with soft sunshine, tousled wavy hair and dramatic red lipstick. She's wearing a billowy midriff shirt and denim, perched to make her introduction to the genre that can be so hard to break into.

It's been an exciting time for Hale. Not only has she announced her debut single for country radio, but she also just finished up a smashing performance on the 2013 'CMA Country Christmas' special on Dec. 2. There, she delivered a spunky version of 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' and showed everyone that while she may be a newcomer, she's here to stay.

Soon, fans will be able to get their hands on 'You Sound Good to Me' and hopefully, in the near future, Hale's forthcoming album, which is expected to street next year with 11 or 12 tracks.
