Lots of Rain Headed to Tuscaloosa
We are forecasting a prolonged period of rainfall for much of central Alabama beginning late Saturday night and continuing through at least the middle of next week, some of which extends beyond the current 7 day forecast period.
Current indications show a potential for heavy rain in the Tuesday through Wednesday time frame. The prospect for heavy rain could aggravate the expected already saturated ground conditions and will support a potential for flash flooding.
In our Hazardous Weather Outlook we are introducing a low confidence threat for flooding for days 6 and 7 (Tuesday and Wednesday) of next week. This outlook will likely be adjusted as we get closer to the event time. #DonHartley #953TheBear #WildBillShow
