Tuscaloosa County authorities confirm longtime Tuscaloosa County teacher Brandi Bishop died in a Thanksgiving Day car crash.

Bishop worked for the Tuscaloosa County School System for 13 years.

Bishop,42, was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer in Monroe County.

Bishop had a reputation for loving her students. She was well respected by colleagues.
