In September we featured the story of Angel Eaton, a student at Hillcrest undergoing treatment for a rare form of bone cancer and were trying to get her featured in a calendar.

‘Brave, Bald and Beautiful’ is a social enterprise created by Author Brianne Banning after seeing her daughter fight two different forms of cancer: a Wilms tumor and Neuroblastoma, both before the age of 7. Along with help from her daughter, Brianne created “The Beautiful Bald Princess” in which the princess meets The Hair Fairy who walks beside cancer patients gathering their hair and keeping it safe until they are finished with their battle. They then followed with "The Brave Bald Knight."

Their biggest fundraising event of the year is the 'Brave, Bald and Beautiful' calendar and I'm happy to report that thanks to your votes, Tuscaloosa will be represented in the 2015 edition by Angel Eaton!

Order your copy today by clicking here. Proceeds will benefit The Hair Fairy's Fighters program which is dedicated to children who have been diagnosed in the last 6 months with cancer. The children in this program will receive a kit from The Hair Fairy herself that includes one free book (Bald Knight or Bald Princess), coloring pages, a photo, and more.

Stop on by the ‘Angel’s Warriors’ Facebook page and give our friend Angel a big congratulations as well!
