OXFORD, Miss. -- Alabama junior running back Kenyan Drake will "probably" need surgery after he was carted off with a major leg injury during Saturday's 23-17 loss at Ole Miss, coach Nick Saban said in his post-game press conference.

"Kenyan Drake has got, I think, a broken leg and we took him to Birmingham already to do all the things they need to do," Saban said. "Don’t know how long exactly that will keep him out. I’m sure most of the season, if not all."

Drake went down with the gruesome left leg injury following a 10-yard, first-down reception on Alabama's opening possession of the second quarter, and a cart was immediately called to assist him off the field. Drake, crying, gave a thumbs up as the cart drove off the field.

In the first quarter, Drake was helped off the field after a kickoff before returning to action in the action.

Entering Saturday's contest, Drake, the Crimson Tide's third-team running back, has a team-best six touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving) and is second on the team in receiving yards with 149 yards.

Warning: Watch the video of the injury with extreme caution.
