Keith Urban performed in Tampa, Fla., on Friday night (June 17), and near the end of his set, the singer took a moment to offer a musical tribute to the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Fla. The singer's selection: a cover of U2‘s song "One.”

“Although I didn’t know anybody in that horrific incident, I did, because they’re just guys and girls, brothers and sisters,” Urban told the crowd gathered at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre of the 49 people who lost their lives, as well as the 53 injured, during the horrific incident. “They had dreams, hopes, plans, just like every one of us. So I know ’em like I know you guys.”

Urban sang "One" alone -- just himself and his guitar. Readers can press play above to watch the touching moment.

“God bless you, Orlando,” Urban said at the end, pumping his fist and adding, "Orlando strong!"

Following the tragic events in Orlando, many country stars have paid tribute onstage and off: Luke Bryan called for a moment of silence during his 2016 CMA Music Festival performance, the Dixie Chicks dedicated “Better Way” to the victims, and Little Big Town performed their touching song “Miracle” in remembrance.

On Tuesday (June 21), Tyler Farr, Maddie & Tae and more will perform in Orlando as part of Orlando's Night of Healing & Country Music. Proceeds from ticket sales and parking will be donated to the OneOrlando Fund.
