Kacey Musgraves will get the opportunity to paint the stage one of her signature colors on Oct. 27 when she "flips the switch" at the Grand Ole Opry in support of breast cancer outreach efforts. The artist will be performing at the venue’s Opry Goes Pink event with Women Rock for the Cure, and Musgraves will have the honor of washing the signature backdrop in a rosy hue at the beginning of the show.

Terri Clark and Montgomery Gentry will also play the event. Five dollars from every ticket sale will be donated to Women Rock for the Cure. The organization seeks to connect and support young women fighting breast cancer, including outreach efforts like the Young Survivors Retreat to bring together young women diagnosed with the disease. Tickets are available for purchase at Opry.com.

Musgraves is currently on the road for the Kacey Musgraves Country & Western Rhinestone Revue tour, which just hit Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium last week. Her most recent album Pageant Material debuted at No. 1 and received critical acclaim for its shrewd, but heartfelt lyrics and throwback style. Her latest single, “Dime Store Cowgirl,” is now playing on country radio.

The singer-songwriter recently released a video with legend Willie Nelson for a “secret” track on Pageant Material written by Nelson and Buddy Emmons called “Are You Sure,” which blended her vintage style with Nelson’s seamlessly and created a poignant, beautiful duet between the two.
