Josh Abbott Band have released the video for their song "Wasn't That Drunk" off of their album Front Row Seat.

The video opens up at a swanky party with Abbott on stage giving a play-by-play of a guy and girl that used to be more than friends. Soon Carly Pearce joins Abbott on stage and the two continue acting as narrators for the once pair who are seen at the party giving each other looks. There are also flashbacks cut into the song that give more depth to the relationship that is clearly about to be re-sparked as the night progresses and the alcohol keeps flowing. As the night draws to a close, the couple is back in each other's arms and thankfully as Abbott sings, they weren't "that drunk."

For the female voice in the song, Abbott knew that the right choice was country newcomer Pearce. In fact, the 25-year-old was the group’s No. 1 choice for the duet and "she killed it,” Abbott gushes to The Boot. He predicts big things for the singer-songwriter — sort of like when Kacey Musgraves, then relatively unknown, helped out on their 2011 single “Oh, Tonight.”

“We’ve been fortunate to work with some acts that just — we saw the potential in them early on,” Abbott says of working with both Musgraves and Pearce. “... I think [“Wasn’t That Drunk”] presents radio with a very unique ability to introduce two artists to the mainstream.”

The Josh Abbott Band are currently on the road; more information about the group and their upcoming tour dates can be found on their website. "Wasn't That Drunk" is available on iTunes now!
