Have you been to a restaurant in Tuscaloosa or maybe Band of Brothers Brewery and had a Monk on the Radio and wondered how they came up with that name for a beer?

I will admit it's been such an honor to tell everyone who has enjoyed this nicely spiced Belgian blonde over the past few months, it's named after me.

Brewmaster Jeremiah Donald and I had a few conversations and after discovering I love the smell and flavor of cracked peppercorn and had never had a Belgian beer i liked (his favorite style), he set out to make a Belgian beer I loved. Well, mission accomplished but not only did i fall in love with it but so did most of the rest of Tuscaloosa!

I will have the distinct honor of broadcasting live from the Band of Brothers brewery on Wednesday from 3-7 pm. Not only will we talk beer and country music but we'll have your chance to register to win a pair of weekend passes to Dega Jam but also an amazing array of eats from JoJo's Food Truck, cold beer and more!

Band of Brothers is located on 23rd Avenue, just off of 15th street in front of the historic Drish Mansion.
