I’ve Never Seen This Message on a RedBox

I rarely use RedBox. I'm spoiled to Xfinity OnDemand. I did a favor for my brother-n-law the other day and got a message that my signal the decline of actual DVD rentals.

We were at a convenience store when I was asked to return two DVD's to a RedBox. I was able to get one of the movies returned and pressed the screen to return the other when I got this message:

I assume this message means not many rentals occur at this particular location.  Seems like there's one on every corner these days. I wonder is this a sign of the advancement of in home on demand movie rentals slowly nudging out actual DVD rentals.

After all, there are hundreds of choices On Demand and there are no late fees, no waiting on other users and no chance the movie won't be "in" if it has been released. Do you use RedBox often? Are you an On Demand user?
