Inside a Broken Etch-a-Sketch
Ohio Art's Etch-a-Shetch has been around since the 50's. Every kid I have ever know has had one. In my experience, the Etch-a-Sketch lasts FOREVER. My son Brody smashed his...somehow. We took a look inside.
There is a thin layer of plastic over REAL glass. Who knew? Inside, there are 1000's of crazy aluminum dust beads.
The mechanics of how it actually draws is pretty cool.
