Tuscaloosa landmark Jupiter Bar continues its quest of providing Tuscaloosa with live music as they announce the addition of The LACS to their upcoming concert lineup.

Hailing from the sandy dirt roads of Baxley, Georgia, The LACS unique blend of hip hop and country was a sound ahead of its time! The songs about livin' in the south and raising a little hell became party anthems in the southeast.

Country music is slow to change and occasionally someone breaks the mold. The LACS have been on the front lines of bringing their style of Hip Hop to country music fans for nearly a decade now. Their underground successes of songs like "Heart of Dixie", "Country Roads" and "4x4" are the cornerstones of their success.

The LACS consist of hip hop artist Clay “Uncle Snap” Sharpe and lead vocalist / guitarist Brian “ Rooster” King. With a blue collar background they have worked shutdowns with the union and framed many a house to earn enough money keep their music dreams alive. Their latest album is still in the works but already has created a buzz with its contributions from Average Joe recording artist Colt Ford, who appears on the song “Shindig” and allowing the LACS the privilege of performing on some of his tour dates.
