There's one common thread that binds Alabama fans together regardless of color, creed, age, religion or any of the other things that intrude into human relationships: passion for the Crimson Tide.

The evening of the Alabama/LSU game, I, along with Meg Summers from our sister station B1017, were sitting in the 95.3 Bear truck on the Quad watching people slog through the mud and muck.

A young man approached the driver's side door and passed us a couple of CDs through the window. 'That's a new Alabama song,' he said as rain rolled along the outer edge of the bill on his Alabama hat. I appreciated his willingness to work hard and get soaked in order to have the music heard and I wanted to reward his efforts by listening.

We popped the CD into the stereo and knew instantly we had to share Tha 2ruth with everyone. We got out of the truck, set up the speakers and watched the jam slowly ease up on folks as we broadcast 'U-N-Alabama' on the Strip just prior to kickoff.

We didn't make it through the entire song before a man passed by in full Running Man mode. I'm not even sure he was aware that he was doing it.

Two days later, I was still listening to 'U-N-Alabama'. I decided to let Petey, Duke and Pickles in on it.

Tha 2ruth has been working hard to share his devotion to the Crimson Tide with other 'Bama fans so check out  'U-N-Alabama' in it's entirety below.

ROLL TIDE!
