My Christmas tree is still up, and I can't take it down until at least midnight tonight.
I am ridiculously superstitious--always have been, always will be--and I can't take my tree down until after Alabama has defeated Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

I know. I know--what I do has no bearing whatsoever on Alabama's success tonight, but... the last time I took my tree down before the natty, it was January 2017. Alabama lost to Clemson in the championship game.

The year prior? I left the tree up, and Alabama won. The year after? I left the tree up, and Alabama won.

Again, I am fully aware of the fact that correlation is NOT causation, but I can't help it. I am a superstitious Alabama fan, and I can't live with myself if I don't do all my neurotic gameday prep.
