I once said to a friend of mine who has been a devout Harley rider for years, "Wouldn't it be so cool if people were wearing Harley t-shirts that had Tuscaloosa on them?"

I was referring to the fact that each Harley-Davidson dealership sells shirts with their town or city's name on them. HD riders will stop at every dealership they come to, just to buy a shirt and support their favorite motorcycle brand.

Well Tuscaloosa get ready! Word came on Friday that Bill Peek, owner of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership just outside of Birmingham, has acquired a 2.5 acre site near the Interstate on which he plans to build T-Town Harley-Davidson!

T-T Harley-Davidson will be built off of exit 77 off I-20/59 between Pizza Hut and Ruby Tuesday. Peek said that they hope to have it opened by Spring 2015.

The closest dealerships to Tuscaloosa currently are Peek's Heart of Dixie in Pelham, AL and Riders Harley-Davidson in Trusville, AL so the Tuscaloosa addition will be a welcome change for bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts alike!
