Great Great Grandmothers Dinner Bell

This dinner bell belonged to my wife, Randi's great great grandmother. When we got it, it was tarnished pretty bad. Like a hundred years worth.  I am in the process of cleaning it up.

I gently took it apart and I  am using Brasso and soapy water with a medium toothbrush. The bell was rang at lunch time back in the day. The men would be out in the fields on the farm and hear the bell and come running!   The fact that my wife will be able to give it to our little girl Charlie is really cool.
