Gordo’s Mule Day/Chickenfest is here

Sponsored by the Gordo Chamber of Commerce, this event draws hundreds of people to Gordo for the carnival, arts & crafts, food and of course, the Mule and tractor parade!

The Wild Bill Show will be LIVE from 10-12noon on Saturday.  Fans of Gordo's biggest day can follow the fun on Gordo official Facebook page.  This year I'm so excited about all the "Gator on a stick" that being brought in from Southern Florida.

I think my favorite part of this event are all the arts and crafts people bring to sell at this big event each year.  I'm a sucker for bird houses and I'm bringing cash to "wheel & deal" this year.
