It is nice when you experience customer service that stands out. That happened to me today at the new Chick-fil-A on Skyland Blvd. It happened during a massive flood of customers too.

I was craving a chicken sandwich so I shot over to the new Chick-fil-A on Skyland. It is only a short distance from our studios. I pulled in and noticed the drive thru's (yes, there are two places to place your order) were pretty backed up. I decided to go inside. As I opened the door, I was greeted by at least 40 children and a few adults that had just de-boarded  the Temple Baptist Church bus out of Ruston, La (see pic above)

To say the least the place was SLAMMED. Lines were long and there were may asking for refills, ketchup packs and other sauces. As I watched the young men and womed taking orders, and fulfilling the requests for ketchup and refills, I noticed the friendly manner they did so. They smiled, they said  "thank you", they said "my pleasure".

I finally made it to the counter and placed my order for a spicy chicken combo and the same thing happened to me. A smile, a thank you and a my pleasure. Even though they were under obvious stress, they remained friendly and courteous.

I waited longer than usual for my order but I know they were really busy and doing all they could. When the guy brought me my bag, he apologized for my wait and handed me a "Be Our Guest" card and said my next meal was on them!

As I turned to walk out, I noticed a survey box on the wall with a picture of the guy who brought me my sandwich. He was the owner, William Boulware.

Thanks William for operating a classy establishment. Chick-fil-A is awesome.
