I'm sure this will come as a surprise to many (said no one ever), but one of the least joyful things for me during the Christmas season is the horrible job I do wrapping gifts. I've either got way too much paper, the excess of which I try to cut off, or I'm just a hair shy of the two pieces meeting. No matter how desperate you are (I am), taping a small, random piece over the gap is not the optimum position to find yourself (myself) in.
