We've teamed up with our friends at Greene Beverage to put a spotlight on some of the phenomenally flavored craft beers that are being distributing throughout Tuscaloosa!

Our "Craft Beer of the Week" feature will put you at the forefront of the craft beer movement happening all over the country right now. We'll delve into the many complex flavors, styles and even touch on some history behind these local, regional and nationally brewed beers!

The first offering up is 'Go-Devil Golden Ale' from Birmingham's newest brewery, Ghost Train Brewing Company.

The 'Go-Devil Golden Ale' is the brewer's West Coast interpretation of a Golden Ale. When talking about beer, the style "golden" is usually paired with other approachable beers like a blonde ale and are typically ideal year round and with relatively low alcohol levels.

The flavor profile is headlined by the addition of Citra hops which gives it a clean, crisp citrus mouth feel, coupled with slightly sweet malt flavor the 'Go-Devil Golden Ale' is, as Ghost Train says on their website,

This is the ultimate "lawnmower beer" for the craft beer lover.

I loved it! Try the 'Go-Devil Golden Ale' today at restaurants and bars all over Tuscaloosa and get your tickets to try it at Bacon & Brewfest on August 29th!
