We're less than two weeks away from the 6th annual Druid City Arts Festival presented by Cadence Bank!

Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF) will again be held in Government Plaza from 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday, April 11th and is free to the public!

The goal of DCAF is to provide a family friendly atmosphere that embraces the arts culture of Tuscaloosa while educating and inspiring the community. 90 artists will be showcased at this year’s DCAF with 18 returning from last year’s event. Some of the art featured will include ceramics, artisan soaps, musical instruments and paintings. This year’s festival will also feature an enhanced kids section featuring numerous activities for children of all ages.

Food vendors will be on site to offer a variety of treats for spectators; beer will be sold to participants of age.

DCAF will also have the chance for you to win $100! All you have to do is tag your pictures of the festival on Instagram with #DCAF2015. More information coming soon.

Another new feature this year is that the festival will be held in conjunction with the Tour de Tuscaloosa, Alabama’s premiere bicycle race. The Tour de Tuscaloosa will span April 11-12. The first day of the race, cyclists will add excitement to the event as they ride around Government Plaza reaching speeds of 40mph. The race will begin at the corner or 21st street, behind Moe’s BBQ. The following day, participants will ride a 12 mile course starting at the Sipsy Valley High School.
