Gadsden Based Brewery Raises Money for Local Charity With Beer Filled Dunk Tank

Thursday night, Back Forty Beer Co. helped raise money for Thirteen Place, a non-profit, community-based agency providing shelter care for youth in homeless crisis situations.

Thirteen Place, Inc. is located in Gadsden, Alabama and is licensed by the Alabama Department of Youth Services to provide shelter for up to fourteen. To date, over 3,200 youth have benefited from their services.

The staff at Back Forty filled a dunk tank with 500 gallons of their staple Naked Pig Pale Ale and took donations for Thirteen Place in exchange for the chance to throw baseballs at a target and possibly dunk a brew master or a dude dressed as an elf!
