To help you make all of your plans, we’ve put together this handy list of everything you need to know.

The event combines the best of Bacon & Brewfest with Bama Brew & Que to provide the city with an incredible two-day food and drink festival.
When: October 7 and 8
Friday, Oct. 7 – The pre-party will feature a people’s choice award tasting to decide which BBQ team is the fan favorite from 6-8PM. There will also be live music with food and alcohol for sale.
Saturday, Oct. 8 – BBQ teams begin grilling in the morning and turn in their first entry beginning at noon. The bacon and beer tasting will open its gates at 1PM for VIPs only and 2:30PM for general admission. Where: Munny Sokol Park Horse Arena
The entire event will take place at the Munny Sokol Park Horse Arena in Northport, which you will be able access from Watermelon Road.
Like prior years, VIP tickets will be limited so buy early to have access to the special beers and extra time for bacon samples. There are also general admission tickets (2:30-5PM) available as well as discounted designated driver tickets. Save money by buying them in advance here.
More than 15 local restaurants are on board to provide samples of bacon dishes they have created for the event. There will be a wide variety of dishes so you’ll enjoy bacon in all its glory.
The event is bringing in 14 of the top craft breweries from around the country to provide samples of nearly 60 different beers. Presenting sponsor New Belgium will be bringing some of their favorites, and we’ll also have some special beers that have never been in Tuscaloosa before.
The exciting barbecue competition, hosted by YP Tuscaloosa, is sanctioned by the KCBS and gives grillmasters a chance to win monetary awards and bragging rights. You can register your team by using this form.
