In a recent interview, Eric Church spoke candidly about the upcoming presidential election and the candidates running for office.

"I've never been very political, and I think I'm where most of the country is, where I feel like stuff just doesn't get done, regardless of who's in charge," the singer tells 99.5 QYK. Later on in the interview, he adds, "I think a lot of people are fed up with what the status quo is. The big thing for me, and I think for a lot of voters out there is, what does that mean when you walk into that booth?"

However, Church has paid attention to this year's candidates enough to note, "It is one of the more interesting ones; it almost resembles WWE or something. It's real interesting to see how both sides are falling out."

When the DJs ask him who he'd vote for if the election comes down to Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, Church admits that he doesn't know yet -- "honestly."

"There is a lot about a number of candidates that I like," he continues. "I wish I could squash it all together and make one, like [those] 'choose your own adventure' [books]."

Church recently released a new single, “Record Year,” from his Mr. Misunderstood album. He does not have a summer tour planned, but the artist will be playing a few summer festivals, including a stop at WE Fest in August. Church has also announced a two-night stand at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater.
