Eight Men Arrested In Prostitution Sting

Tuscaloosa Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Brent Blankley announced the following information related to an undercover operation in Tuscaloosa.

'On May 28th 2015 the Tuscaloosa Police Department conducted an undercover operation to focus on men who solicit prostitution. During the six hours of operation eight men were arrested. All of the men contacted the undercover officer and met her at a hotel after an ad was placed on internet sites that was consistent to other ads used for prostitution.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department understands that focus has to be put on arresting the men that solicit prostitution. We will continue to run these operations in the future and focus on both sides of prostitution and give help to those who are forced into prostitution or want to get out of the lifestyle they are currently involved in.'

The eight men arrested are:

Ulises Chavez, 26 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

William Monroe Herron, 44 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Trevor Franklin Atkins, 36 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Edward Blake Cunningham, 25 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Charles Kithen Landrum Jr. ,35 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Robert Bradley Townsend, 32 years old, , was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Larry Leon Bullock, 45 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.

Anthony Nicholas Michalek, 22 years old, was arrested for 1 Count of Soliciting Prostitution. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending $1,000.00 Bond.
