Duckie Dynasty: BIG News!

After what I'm sure were two frustrating years of trying to hatch her eggs, Greedy Greta had a surprise for her neighbors this morning...

She's lost clutches of eggs to flood waters, kids and, most recently, crows, but persistence pays off. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed her wandering away from the flock which is unusual since they tend to do everything as a group. I manged to capture the last few seconds before she slipped under a bush I do not know the name of.
