Druid City Brewing Hosts UA Campus Veterans Pint Night, Tonight

One week before we observe Veteran's Day, Druid City Brewing Company is hosting a gathering for the city's men and women in uniform.

Tonight, each pint of beer sold will be donated back to the Campus Veterans Association.

According to their website,

The Campus Veterans Association was created in spring of 2009. Ashkan Bayatpour, founder of CVA, created the organization as a response to a number of his friends and fellow veterans dropping out of the University of Alabama as a result of the hardships they faced transitioning back to civilian and student life. As the organization came online and the first generation of CVA leaders pushed the organization forward, it became clear that a myriad of issues faced student veterans.

Tonight's activities start at 6pm and Druid City will also have local Dixieland jazz trio, Voodoo Saints playing in the kitchen. The brewery is located at 607 14th Street in Tuscaloosa.
