The inaugural 'Pints for Pups' fundraiser is scheduled for Thursday, July 31st at Druid City Brewing Company to benefit the Humane Society of West Alabama.

Toys, water, and treats will be provided for the dogs. You'll be able to drink great beer and listen to local artist Ham Bagby in the taproom! $1 from each pint purchased on Thursday will be donated to the Humane Society of West Alabama to raise awareness for pet adoption.

Mary's Cakes and Pastries have also created dog treats made using the spent grain from DCBC's beer brewing process, that will be available for $5 a bag with 50% going to the Humane Society.

DCBC's Bob Baker said,

We have so many patrons who like to bring their dogs to our taproom, so we reached out to the Humane Society of West Alabama to see what we could put together. DCBC's community goal has always been to support the ones in Tuscaloosa who are doing the right thing. We believe those working for the Humane Society are doing just that.

'Pints for Pups' will run from 6:30p-10:00p on Thursday night at the taproom located at 607 14th Street in Tuscaloosa, in front of Oz Music.
