Druid City Brewing Co. Lamplighter IPA – Craft Beer of the Week

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Greene Beverage to put a spotlight on some of the phenomenally flavored craft beers that are being distributing throughout Tuscaloosa!

This week I'm proud to announce that we're featuring a beer that I know very well, Druid City Brewing Company's Lamplighter IPA!

For those who may not know, an IPA (India Pale Ale) is essentially a hoppier version of a pale ale. The Free Dictionary describes it as, "A golden ale with a strong flavor of hops and a relatively high alcohol content, originally brewed in England for export to India." Druid City's Lamplighter is a shining example of the many different flavor compositions that make up an IPA.

I had the chance to hang with Druid City's co-owner and head brewmaster Bo Hicks and really got down to what makes their offering one of the most popular IPAs in West Alabama!
