The first thing most people think of when they hear "Groundhog Day" is the movie with Bill Murray. But tomorrow is actually groundhog day and we find out if Punxsutawney Phil comes from his burrow and sees his shadow or not.

If Phil sees his shadow, we get 6 more weeks of winter if not, spring comes early. Traditionally, there are not a lot of groundhog day parties. Tomorrow is a little different.

Tomorrow, we can celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie Groundhog Day with "Well That's Cool". They are are putting on a special screening of the film at the historic Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa! According to wellthatscool.com:

We at Well That’s Cool don’t believe in just showing the film. We’re going to be making this a fun event for all, complete with a costume contest! Come dressed as your favorite Bill Murray for a chance to win some great prizes. It doesn’t even have to be tied to Groundhog Day. You can come dressed as Peter Venkman, Carl Spackler, or any other of Bill Murray’s fantastic characters. Drink specials will also be available throughout the night!

There will even be a special rye beer brewed by our local Druid City Brewing just for the 20th anniversary screening of the movie!

Also from wellthatscool.com: 'This event will be sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor’s society at The University of Alabama and The Tuscaloosa Arts Council. Speaking of sponsors – this event will be a lead in to the show by our friends at The Pink Box Burlesque directly afterwards that evening at Green Bar. Talk about a fantastic Saturday night!"

Proceeds from the event will benifit local charities.

Who said groundhog day had to be just like every other day?
