Dining Discount App ‘Hooked’ Spreading Deals Around Tuscaloosa

I downloaded Hooked a couple days ago. Who doesn't like a good deal on lunch, right? It seems to be geared to UA students but I had no trouble signing up with my Facebook account. If you like to save money - you can use this app.

I saw a table top card advertising the app in Roly Poly in Temerson square yesterday.  After downloading the app, I dug around and learned how it works. It's pretty simple. You'll see deals from restaurants around you. The deals last between 2 and 3 hours and will let you know how long you have to claim the deal. Just show the app to the cashier and save some money.

I plan on saving a few bucks on lunch today!
