Diesel, 95.3 The Bear’s New Mascot!

Diesel is in-studio every morning at 953 The Bear.  He recently moved to Tuscaloosa and Wild Bill had a chance to sit down with him for an exclusive interview.  Lets learn more about Diesel and his role on the Steve Shannon Morning Show with Simone Eli.

WB:  Diesel, thanks for joining us today tell me your work schedule here at 953 The Bear?

Diesel:  First off, it's good to be here and I wanna say that we "pits" get a bad rap.  I'm a lover, not a fighter and I want people to know that right outta the gate.  I live with my best friend Audio Bob and we get here about 4am.  The first thing I like to do is sniff around the vending machine cause Monk is always buying honey buns and there usually a trail of icing between his office and the vending machine.  I love honey buns, and all kinds of food!

WB:  What is your role during the morning show?

Diesel:  I like to watch Simone put on her lipstick, she smells good.  It's a fact, the ladies like to scratch my back and I LOVE me some female fingernails.  Steve talks to me about some of the morning headlines, his jokes and i tell him if they are a "little ruff!"  I'll be honest, I curl up & sleep during the 8am hour in a big brown chair in-studio and dream of chasing rabbits and sorority girls at UA!

WB:  Haha, I hear ya...Whats been the best thing about moving to Tuscaloosa from St Louis so far?

Diesel:  Is it just me?  Do you smell bacon?  Ah, anyways...I LOVE going to Bama games and getting back scratches from the ladies!  The weather is much hotter here and I LOVE any reason to wear some shades and sit next to girls, especially Bama girls!  I'm loving T-town Wild Bill!!! (At this moment, Diesel ran around the room 3 times really fast and then sat back down)

WB:  If elected president, how would Diesel make America great again?

Diesel:  I think EVERYONE should be allowed on furniture!  I think that would be my platform...literally!  FREE microchips and ID tags for everyone and I'd change the term limits to dog years so I'd be there 28 years or so i guess.  I'd also get to ride in back of the 953 The Bear truck with the window down anytime I wanted it down if I we're president!  Who keeps locking the window thingy up front anyways? 

WB:  I'm not sure, but I will try to find out buddy!

Diesel:  Where's Bob?  I like to keep my eyes on him cause he's my best-est friend.  And seriously, you don't smell that bacon?  Ed smells like Bacon, maybe he is here?  Steve is off his diet lately and I'm loving it cause he's a giver unlike Monk, the Honey bun hog.... and DIETS ARE FOR SUCKERS!!!
