Did Anyone Else See The DeLorean on Skyland Blvd Yesterday
I am a big fan of the Back to The Future movies. I’m a fan of the DeLorean too. I saw one yesterday on turning off of McFarland on to Slyland. I was so excited that when I went to grab my phone to snap a pic, I fumbled it and missed the photo op.
UPDATE : Got this email from Jennifer:
Tell Scott I have seen the DeLorean for the past couple of weeks up and down 69 South (Hillcrest area) and it has stopped at the Winn Dixie in Hillcrest a few times.
If you are the owner of the DeLorean and happen to be reading this, please stop by 95.3 The Bear Studio at 142 Skyland Blvd between 6a and 10a any weekday. I need the story of how you came to own this iconic car. If you have seen it and know who owns it, please pass the info along. I promise not to harass them to bad. I am most sincere in my request. Contact me here.
A little DeLorean History from Wikipedia:
The DeLorean DMC-12 (commonly referred to simply as The DeLorean as it was the only model ever produced by the company) is a sports car manufactured by John DeLorean‘s DeLorean Motor Company for the American market in 1981–82. Featuring gull-wing doors with a fiberglass “underbody”, to which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels are affixed, the car became iconic for its appearance as a modified time machine in the Back to the Future film trilogy.
