DHL Uses Competition to Advertise for Them in Creative Marketing Plan [VIDEO]
More and more companies look for clever ways to get an advantage in the cutthroat world of advertising, but shipping company DHL might have devised the most creative plan yet.
The company shipped a large box with the words “DHL is Faster” written in large font on the outside, but the delivery men couldn’t see it until the package warmed up. The guys from rival companies were then stuck delivering the box in highly trafficked, wide-open areas around town.
As a result, DHL was able to display its marketing message loud and clear. On top of all of that, the campaign only cost the price of shipping.
