Country songwriter Dallas Davidson was arrested in a Nashville bar early Thursday morning (July 10) for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Davidson is known for penning big hits like Luke Bryan's 'Play It Again,' Blake Shelton's 'Boys ‘Round Here,' Randy Houser's 'Runnin’ Outta Moonlight' and Trace Adkins' 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,' among others.

According to TMZ, Davidson was at Nashville's Tin Roof bar where he was seen challenging other bar patrons to fights and overheard yelling both homophobic and racial slurs and swearing. The arrest occurred at 2:50 AM and Davidson was released by late Thursday morning. During that time, the country songwriter was administered a medical screening. The police report states that the country hitmaker smelled strongly of alcohol.

This hasn't been the easiest year for the popular songwriter. He also announced he was getting a divorce from wife Sarah Davidson. They're both stars on the reality series 'Private Lives of Nashville Wives' and announced the news on the show.
