Cottondale Restaurant to Host Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

In August, Southland Restaurant in Cottondale will venture away from their popular meat and three menu for one morning to help raise money for local children.

'Flapjacks for Foster Kids' will be held at Southland Restauranton August 20th from 7-11:30 am. The pancake breakfast will benefit Defend the Orphans Ministry of Coaling Baptist Church whose mission is to defend those who are unable to defend themselves by promoting and supporting international orphan adoptions for special needs children.

You can pre-order your tickets by calling Coaling Baptist Church at 205-792-3515. Tickets are $8 for adult and $5 for kids 12 and under. The menu will include pancakes with deluxe topping bar, sausage, grits, coffee, juice or milk. There will also be event t-shirts available for sale at the breakfast for $15.
