Arctic air is making its way to Alabama this week; by Thursday morning, we could see a low of just 15 degrees Fahrenheit.  The National Weather Service in Birmingham forecasts a low Tuesday night of 29. Wednesday's high will be 43 degrees, and temperatures are not expected to pass 34 degrees Thursday. Highs will stay in the 40's through the weekend.

Colder temperatures mean a significant drop in wind chill values as well; ABC 33/40 Cheif Meteorologist James Spann posted this graphic to Facebook this morning. By Wednesday at midnight, we could see a wind chill of just 2 degrees!
