City of Tuscaloosa Advises Residents to Avoid Little Hurricane Creek Area Following Wastewater Line Leakage

The City of Tuscaloosa issued a warning over the weekend: residents were advised to avoid entering or using water from the area near Little Hurricane Creek.

At 7:39 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016, the City posted the warning to its Facebook page. Residents were told there was no immediate danger, but to avoid entering or using the water of Little Hurricane Creek after a wastewater line leakage was detected. The City of Tuscaloosa corrected the leak and is currently monitoring water conditions.
