The Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance awarded Chicken Salad Chick Founders Kevin and Stacy Brown the honor of Restaurateur of the Year!

The two were honored at the 15th Annual Hospitality Stars of Alabama Awards this week. These accolades recognize outstanding performance, commitment and achievements in the lodging, tourism and restaurant industry. The Gala Awards were held at the Hotel at Auburn University on Monday, October 27th.

The Restaurateur of the Year award is given to the owner who shows exemplary customer and community service, employee relations, and dedication to advancing the food service industry of Alabama. Since the beginning of their company in 2008, Kevin and Stacy have certainly exemplified these qualities in the Chicken Salad Chick restaurants and their respective communities across the Southeast. Their rapid growth is solely from demand of their product and brand that offers guest a simple concept and superb experience. The Browns also recently established the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation, which has already raised over $100,000 towards fighting cancer and hunger in their communities.

Founder Kevin Brown said,

We are extremely honored to have received this award among such outstanding finalists. Anyone in this industry knows that it takes great people to build and grow a brand, and Stacy and I truly believe that our success is due to the wonderful, hard-working team that we have at Chicken Salad Chick. We are so excited to continue to share our concept, passion and people with many more cities in the coming years.

There is a Chicken Salad Chick location in Midtown Village if you wanted to see what the fuss was about.
