McFarland plaza,2600 McFarland Blvd,is home to TJ Maxx, Toys R Us, Michaels, Dollar General & other businesses. A Tennessee based company has purchased the property as reported in the Tuscaloosa News.

New owners are planning changes. The new owners plan cosmetic improvements & new tenants that fill voids in the Tuscaloosa marketplace.

A Trader Joe's would be a nice addition to our city. Look for changes to begin happening soon.
