Step back in time and become part of the great American journey for independence at the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama in June, July and August. 

Founded in 1995, the American Village serves the Nation as an educational institution whose mission is to strengthen and renew the foundations of American liberty and self-government by engaging and inspiring citizens, leaders and stewards.

The American Village runs Monday through Friday, June 2-August 29; excluding June 24-26, July 3, 25

The American Village, located just 30 minutes south of Birmingham, Alabama (3727 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL), is a national treasure. Washington Hall, inspired by George Washington’s Mount Vernon home, a Colonial chapel, courthouse, full-sized Oval Office, and a Concord Bridge replica are highlights of the campus, located on 183 acres of picturesque land in Montevallo. A trip to the American Village is a great adventure for families, Scouts, vacation Bible schools, community boys and girls clubs and family reunions.

•          Drill with the Continental Army
•          Visit with an American Patriot
•          Play Colonial Games on the Green and Tavern Table Games
•          Join in an 18th Century Dance

Admission: “daycation” family price is $25 for up to 5 family members, each additional member $5. Single Admission: $10 adults; $9 seniors (60+); $9 youth (5-17). Free to veterans and active military.
