Fans waiting for the follow-up project to Cassadee Pope's debut album, 2013's Frame By Frame, won't have to wait much longer: The singer has announced a new EP, Summer, set for release in June.

Pope's four-song EP is due out on June 3 via Big Machine Label Group, and her new single, the disc's title track, will officially impact country radio on June 6. The artist has been performing the song live in recent months; readers can press on the video below to watch one such version of the tune, which tells the story of a summertime romance.

"He drove away the first of September / But I remember / Yeah, I remember," Pope sings in the song's chorus. "He talked like / And he walked like / And he looked like / And he burned like / Summer."

Summer was produced by Corey Crowder and features three songs co-written by Pope herself; a complete track listing is below. On Twitter, Pope revealed that she shot a music video for "Summer" on May 6.

Pope and Chris Young recently scored a No. 1 song with their duet, "Think of You." The two will head back out on the road together this fall.
